 What is the name of your shop, your name and what do you sell?
My Shop name is: Look What the Cat Dragged in Designs – I am Shelley Whalen I sell Air Plant and Succulent Arrangements as well as all different types of gnomes and starting some Cork Creations. How did you get interested in creating and what inspires you to keep creating?
I quit smoking 😊 I started crafting to keep my hands busy and to keep myself occupied while I quit smoking. One of the other main reasons I started crafting was because my best friend joined me, and the craft shows became our thing to do together and our “girl time”. We inspire each other with our creations and sometimes a painting or picture, a tv show or a conversation with friends can inspire me to create.
What has made you the most excited through out your journey?
I love sharing my creations at the craft shows, I receive many great compliments about how creative my work and ideas are and that just motivates me to keep creating. I love seeing all the familiar faces (vendors and customers) at my shows and getting to catch up on what everyone has done over the winter or the summer, it really is a tight knit crafting community and you become like family.
What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time I do my crafts, I love music and I like to meet up with friends from all over the world and go on 80’s music cruises called Monsters of Rock (MOR), I love to travel and I do spend a lot of time with my 2 cats.
What do you prefer – romantic movies, comedies, documentaries, horror movies?
I love all movies, but Horror movies have always been my favorite. A Good comedy and laughter is always great as well.
