It Makes Scents is a small one woman run business .
We specialize in the weird, wacky as well as cute and creepy bath and beauty products . We offer alternative products to those not wanting the average soaps , bath bombs and more out there , and cater to their unique tastes .
Feeling nostalgic about cult classic movies, cartoons? Chances are we can make it into a soap opera. Our small shop is always happy to take custom orders that push our limitations . We’ve been extremely blessed to have accomplished being featured in the Winnipeg Free Press as well as Winnipeg Mag and taking part of the newest unique market The Punk Rock Flea not once but twice and selling out of stock.
Our scent list is almost at 200 and we recognize how overwhelming it is but life’s always full of hard choices .
If you’re into mystical , witchy or at times cheeky stuff, you’ve come to the right place . Our vision grew from love of all things weird and novelty , nostalgic, horror flicks and fandom . Who doesn’t want to share a bath with Chucky or Pennywise? Peoples crazy creative custom requests is what continues to inspire my creativity as well as our adorned returning customers .
In my spare time , I enjoy traveling to new places , mostly to try new foods and chilling with my lab who thinks she’s a diva but let’s get real she’s actually a queen , we don’t tell her though and watching movies with my two kids who actually still want to hang out with their momma in their teens , shocker I know but again I’m the one bringing the snacks.
