Introducing Christine, the creative behind Cupcake Catacomb!
Her unique artistry blends the spooky with the charming to create an array of visually stunning delights sure to captivate you year-round. Drawing inspiration from her Anishinaabeg heritage, Christine's beaded creations showcase lunarpunk aesthetic and indigenous artistry, resulting in bespoke jewelry and decor.
How did you get interested in creating and what inspires you to keep creating?
I have always been creative as a child. I can remember turning hand-me-downs into punk clothing as a teen. It eventually turned into sculpting, beading and self taught graphic and web design. Being creative is therapy for me, it's what makes me feel home. I find doing a big clean-up of my workspace helps me find my creativity for new projects.
What has made you the most excited through out your journey?
Honestly, I really love the feedback on my artwork and how people really love the colour palette or that is unique and the fact that it’s just something that was always created for me and not for an audience. I'm not as concerned whether or not people will buy my work.
What do you do in your spare time?
I am a stay home mom to two under four. I love to cook. My full-time job is my spare time is business and it’s my only personal income.
What do you prefer – romantic movies, comedies, documentaries, horror movies?
Horror and comedy movies
Where can people see your wares besides this page?
I post everything on my Facebook, marketplace, my website and on Instagram.

Thank-you Christine and welcome to the Community!
